All new for 2015 Harley’s Freewheeler adds some hot rod styling to three wheels with its all new trike model that fuses styling with handling. Shorter and lighter for a riding experience like no other it struts ape-hangers and bobtail fenders giving it nothing but attitude. The Freewheeler was designed, developed and tested to the highest standards of Harley-Davidson and is backed by over a hundred years of touring mastery. It utilizes a frame with geometry engineered specifically to handle the loads generated by the steering forces and weight of a three-wheel vehicle unlike a bolt-on aftermarket trike kit. Equipped with an air-cooled 103” Twin Cam mated to a 6 speed cruise drive transmission it delivers abundant power for quick getaways as well as highway passing power. Standard equipment includes electronic cruise control, a foot activated parking brake, electronic reverse and a hydraulic clutch for reduced lever effort. The linked rear brake allows the rider to apply the front and rear brakes through the rear brake pedal only. This particular example was finished in Vivid Black and has been nicely upgraded with a windshield, a quick release driver backrest and a set of floorboard attached highway pegs.
