Description
1950 Crosley Station Wagon 'A Marketing Master Piece' Crosley cars are often confused with foreign cars because of its size. It is no wonder why this small station wagon attracts so much attention. 'A Marketing Master Piece' This under construction project street rod is so unique that it brings attention to young and old. There is not a day when this little car starts a conversion with its unique appeal. The body on this car was in near perfect condition with little rust. The car was completely chemically stripped to bare metal. Body work and body modifications where then concentrated on to accommodate a 4 cylinder dual overhead cam Ecotec engine with 240hp and 6 speed transmission. Custom 4 wheel disc brakes where installed to insure stopping performance. An under the dash swing pedal unit was installed to clean up the engine bay area of unsightly master cylinder. And if that is not enough a custom fitted Unister rack and pinion was installed for driver comfort while on the open road. The engine compartment is dressed and ready to go. No embarrassment here! A custom polished cooling system was fitted as well as a very attractive engine cover sporting velocity stacks and air brushed fuel rails simulating wood. The cold air intake box and air rails are of billet design. The engine wire harness is of the newest design for reliability and performance. The glass in the car has been changed to modern tinted tempered glass for safety on the side and rear. All new weather stripping and seals where installed during assembly. The windows roll up and down very nicely and rear windows move freely. The body has a beautiful baby blue two stage paint with wood inlay inserts. The wood inserts resemble the era of the early Woody's. From the outside of this street rod one would think it is stock. Surely not the case! The wire harness has been updated to a fuse type harness for convenience. The instruments has been carefully placed for easy to read and operate. All new c
